2019 Elisha's Chardonnay

Sue-Ann named the 2019 Elisha's Chardonnay for her Great-great Grandfather, Elisha Staff. Elisha was known for his unwavering commitment to farming, family and community. This barrel-aged Chardonnay has parallel commitment to its structure, fruit and body. 

Elisha's Chardonnay is a firm, medium-bodied wine. Featuring lush aromatics of oak, heritage apple and pear, the wine is surprisingly steely for a barrel-aged Chardonnay. Its clean-edged acidity helps balance the weighty alcohol (12.5%) and subdues the wine's woody notes. It's an excellent "starter" Chardonnay for those looking to explore the varietal! Elisha's Chardonnay is delicious on its own, but it is even better with crumbly, aged cheddar, poultry, salmon, scallops, or roast pork.
