Vinification: Harvested (October 2020) exclusively from the estate vineyard in from 16- to 30-year-old vines grown on thin clay soils with escarpment limestone rock beneath. Most vines are clone 21 on SO4 rootstock. After gentle pressing, the juice went through a cool fermentation then aged in stainless steel. It was filtered and sweetened before bottling.
Tasting notes: Riesling Loved By Lu is a lovely example of Ontario Riesling, perfectly balanced between sweet and tart. Fruit-forward and friendly, with bright suggestions of fresh green apple and citrus zest and perhaps a hint of grilled pineapple.
Serving suggestions: Delightful served well-chilled on its own, or enjoy with young, fresh cheeses; mild, fragrant curries; roasted, grilled or seared poultry and pork; Asian cuisine; salmon, quiche and other egg dishes

Discreet nose led by honeyed sweetness and white peach. Some spritz on the palate with acidity searing and a chalky finish. Classic example of the style.
