Lifted aromas of cherry pie, pencil shavings, mint chocolate ice-cream and dried tobacco elevate from the glass. Gripping tannins with dried herbs, juicy red fruits, coffee, cigar and cherry brandy follow through on the dry, full bodied and alluring palate. Underlying oven-roasted red peppers and subtle spices add intrigue. The finish is warm, round and youthful. Enjoy this classic Cabernet Franc with lamb, pastas, dark chocolate, red meats, semi-hard to hard cheeses, and sausages.
