A unique one-piece gritstone used by Sue-Ann’s ancestors to mill flour greets visitors upon arrival. Its stature alludes to the weight of this Cabernet with gripping tannins, smoky and spiced palate, plus a lengthy finish.
Deep red colour with youthful hues draw you into the wine. The intriguing nose is elegant and complex. Aromatics of spices, hazelnut, leather, vanilla and butterscotch lift from the glass then are joined on the medium bodied, dry palate with black pepper, astringency, tar and piles of red berries. The lengthy finish is dry, gripping, and weighty. Concentrated and alluring. Enjoy with red meats, cheeses, tomato sauces, mushrooms, medium cocoa chocolate, and lamb.
