Dense colour and focused primary fruit sensations dominate the wine. Lifted aromatics of blueberry, stewed black raspberries and mint leap from the glass. A cherry jam loaded palate with earthiness intrigues the senses. A pithiness (a cherry pit note) breaks up the fruit overload. The finish is dry, fruity and clean. Too easy. Too yummy. Too versatile. 2018’s growing season was hot and dry. Late fall precipitation occurred after this was harvested September 20th providing dense flavour and great concentration.
