-harvested exclusively from the estate vineyard in Jordan, ON, sub appellation 20 Mile Bench utilizing four vineyard parcels 8 to 20-year-old vines grown on thin clay soils with escarpment limestone rock beneath
-2016 – warm year with moderate precipitation hence harvested early to retain acidity nicely in the fruit
-vey low yields with tiny berries resulting in 21.8 Brix, 8.2 g/L T.A. and 3.05 pH
-cool fermented in stainless steel over 3 weeks with selected yeast
-no blending or fining required

A warmer season provided for flavours and nuances slightly more developed despite the early harvest date. Aromatics reminiscent of mango, guava, ripe peach juice with wet stone notes dominate the palate. Zippy acidity and minerality fill the palate with sun-kissed oranges, tangerines, ripe Meyer lemon meringue pie. Fresh, semi-dry and balanced. The finish is round with minerality shinning through. Fabulous when paired with appetizers, chicken, poultry, seafood, fish, mild cheese, or on its own. Sensational with Thai cuisine.
