Sue-Ann Staff Estate Winery is a quality-oriented winery on the family's 200+ year old estate, located on the brow of the Niagara Escarpment in Jordan, Ontario.

The 104-acre family farm provides the perfect backdrop for your wedding. The picturesque gazebo overlooking the hourglass pound is the ideal location to exchange vows, while the rolling hills, vineyard, farmhouse & barn create a memorable backdrop for a tented reception.

Just Cooking Rustic Italian was founded by Chef and owner Tim Cherry.  His passion for using fresh local ingredients to create menus centered around his Rustic Italian roots, has assisted him in establishing an intimate fine dinning restaurant in the heart of wine country.  With his passion for culinary excellence Tim has decided to expand Just Cooking and provide exclusive wedding catering and event services to Sue Ann Staff Estate Winery. 

 

 

Our all-inclusive wedding package for 110-200 people* includes:
~ Professional Event Planner to help bring your wedding vision to life
~ Total Venue Rental Fee
~ On site Event Manager the day of the wedding for all wedding needs
~ On Site Wedding Ceremony surrounded by manicured landscaping, overlooking 3-acre hourglass pond
~ Floor length table linen and napkins in black or white, white resin folding chairs and your choice of round or rectangular tables
~ Complimentary wine tasting for your guests during cocktail hour in the winery
~ Menu tasting for the wedding couple and two guests
~ Professional Disc Jockey services for ceremony and reception

 Additional Services
The Photographer, Officiant, Musicians and any other services not included in the wedding package are your responsibility.  Upon request, our Event Planner would be happy to provide you with a list of reliable vendors
 

About the Venue

Before the ceremony

The Burrows Room located in the original family barn provides the perfect space to complete those finishing touches before the ceremony.  The Burrows Room will be available on the day of your wedding beginning at 2pm. 

 
 

Ceremony & Reception

Included in your wedding package is the use of the gazebo over looking the hour glass pond.  In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will re-locate to the tent.  Our Event Manager will closely monitor the weather and will decide to relocate by 2:00pm the day of your wedding.  We provide a wine barrel for the signing of your marriage license.  Our wedding team will set-up all chairs for your ceremony.  Please note that wedding ceremonies will begin no earlier than 4:30pm.

 
The ceremony site is available no earlier then 2:30pm on the day of your wedding.
The tent can accommodate a maximum of 200 guests, including a head table.

Just Cooking Rustic Italian Catering carries the same food quality standards as that of the restaurant.  Chef and Owner Tim Cherry prides himself on house made (from scratch) menu items.  He insists on fresh local (when possible) ingredients to maintain the highest quality of taste and presentation possible.  Whether we’re cooking for 2 or 200, quality, taste and presentation remain at the root of what we do

Wine & Bar Service

Just Cooking Rustic Italian Catering fully supports Sue-Ann Staff Estate Winery and the award-winning wines produced by owner and winemaker Sue-Ann Staff.  We require all wine to be purchased directly from the winery (i.e. the cost of wine is not included in the final pricing, but is separate from the package).  Please note that a minimum of ½ bottle per adult guest is required.  There is no corkage or service fee as a sign of our gratitude for supporting our winery host.

Package pricing is based on a minimum of 110 guests (19 years of age and older)
$5 per person discount for Friday and Sunday Weddings excluding Holiday weekends.
 
 

Fine Print

  • White Resin folding Chairs and your choice of round or rectangular tables are included
  • No outside alcohol is permitted on property
  • Any outside alcohol found on the property will be subject to a $500 fine in accordance to the rules and regulations of the AGCO
  • A menu tasting by appointment at Just Cooking Rustic Italian for you and your fiancée plus two additional guests
  • Just Cooking Rustic Italian is the sole food service provider on-site, up to and including the late-night food
  • Full guest numbers, menu selection and floor plan must be confirmed no later then two weeks’ prior
  • Chinese lanterns, sparklers and confetti are not allowed on the property
  • A non-refundable deposit of $5000 is due upon booking
  • At 6 months 50% of the total amount is due
  • Full payment must be processed two weeks prior to the wedding
  • Neither Just Cooking Rustic Italian nor Sue-Ann Staff Estate Winery or any related parties or vendors are responsible for any lost or stolen items
  • Rehearsals are held on Thursdays
  • SOCAN fee of $59.17 plus applicable taxes applies to all weddings
