Named in honour of Robert Staff, Sue-Ann’s Great Great Great grandfather, the original settler to her family’s 200-year-old estate in Jordan, ON located on the brink of the Niagara Escarpment. This is an elegant expression of the Riesling grape -- dry, with excellent minerality and a hint of petrol on the nose.

One of Niagara’s most notable and classic Rieslings. Taking the time to enjoy the nose and palate will reveal why. Complex nuances of lemon oil, tangerine, clementine and fresh honey accompany slate and wet stone notes that are elegant, subtle and seamlessly intertwined. A firm fresh palate that is off dry and balanced display vibrant, clean and focused orange with key lime, honey and minerality with a twist of lemon curd. Lengthy, transitioning, complex, zippy with a commendable extract. Finishes dry. Drinking well now until 2026 minimum. Enjoy with seafood, fish, appetizers, poultry, and salads or simply on its own.

Gorgeous acidity in his mouthwatering gem. Wet stone minerality, fresh lime leaf, lime zest, canned mandarin orange. Wow, yummy. Pairs well with banana leaf wrapped white fish with fresh lemongrass infused jasmine rice. Tasted 2016 vintage in May 2018. 92 points
