  • due to the very cool conditions and fear of suitable colour extraction, the grapes passed through a “Flash Unit” whereby berries were heated to 80°C to rupture the berry’s outer cells releasing the colour and vegetal notes.

  • 100% malolactic fermentation concurrent with alcoholic fermentation

Alc. 10.5%           pH: 3.62                T.A.: 8.2 g/L        R.S.: 13 g/L


  • Bright and bold garnet red with a watery white rim with little indications of age.


  • Red cherry, cherry pie, floral notes of lavender and lilac


  • Bold round fruit sensations from the aroma follow through with elegance that allows the fruit sensations to dance


  • Light, clean, elegant finish making them fabulous with everyday fare of burgers, pasta, ribs, BBQ pork, stews, game meats, roasted veg and milk/low cocoa chocolate.


This wine was not aged in oak, has very little tannin and low alcohol, therefore not suitable for aging beyond 2 years.
