Tasting Notes:
One of Niagara’s most notable and classic Rieslings.  Taking the time to enjoy the nose and palate will reveal why.  Complex nuances of tangerine, clementine and fresh honey accompany slate and wet stone notes that are elegant, subtle and seamlessly intertwined.  A firm fresh palate that is off dry and balanced display vibrant, clean and focused orange with fresh cut yellow grapefruit, green apple, honey and minerality.  Lengthy, transitioning, complex, zippy with a commendable extract.  Finishes dry.  Drinking well now until 2021 minimum.  Enjoy with seafood, fish, appetizers, poultry, and salads or simply on its own.

rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Sue-Ann staff is sometimes fondly referred to as the Riesling wizard of Niagara. She is not the only producer succeeding in quality riesling, but one would be hard pressed to find a more reliable producer. With Staff's Riesling, every year impresses.
This allotment of vines are older and low yielding. This means what little grapes the vine produces are more concentrated and flavourful. Pale and youthful looking. Energizing and vibrant, this wine is very dry but fruity. Wonderful aromas of guava, lemon juice, key lime, apple sauce, honeysuckle, and slate. The palate is zippy, but not so puckering it's unapproachable. Lots of fresh citrus: lime, lemon, and tangerine. Guava, lemon, and pie apple on the finish.
A fabulous and age-able wine that would also go great with red snapper or a cobb salad.
