It's our first Comedy on the Vine night of the summer!

Join us FRIDAY, MAY 31 to live, laugh, quaff in the Moyer Marquee. 


Staff favourite CLIFFORD MYERS hosts Comedy on the Vine, a night of hilarious comedy here at the winery. Featuring comedians KATE DAVIS and EVAN CARTER, Comedy on the Vine promises to be a fabulously funny evening at the winery!


Please note, there are no physical tickets for this event. Your name will be added to the guestlist for check-in at the door. 


photo of Comedy on the Vine guest KATE DAVISKATE DAVIS: Keeping busy on Canadian Comedy scene for over 20 years; Kate has12 Canadian Comedy Award nominations including the prestigious Phil Hartman Award plus a web series “Best Before” which Kate starred in, wrote, produced  and won at the 2017 Canadian Comedy Awards. Kate had an hour-long Comedy Special on CTV, Comedy Network. As well taped a gala at the Winnipeg Comedy Festival. They can be heard on Sirius XM Radio, CBC Radio “Laugh Out Loud” and “The Debaters”. Kate has shared the stage with Lewis Black and Seth Meyers and is also a favorite at corporate events Touring the globe with comedy and speaking has allowed Kate to open for President Bill Clinton, and The Late Barbara Walters to name a few. Kate Davis has 2 comedy albums out “House Arrest” with Howl & Roar Records and “Tested Positive” which was recorded at the height of the pandemic.

His likes, dislikes and especially what confuses him provide an endless source of fascination and material. You can hear him on CBC radio’s “Laugh Out Loud”. His new album "You Speak So Well" is out and ready to be enjoyed.

Photo of Comedy on the Vine host CLIFFORD MYERSCLIFFORD MYERS is a Canadian Comedian 15 years into the business and the founder of The Other Comedy Company that builds comedy-based personal and professional development programs for corporate teams and community organizations. 

In his career, he has been an active advocate for comedians, positive-sum business practices and community-building. 

His greatest career accomplishments to this day are directly integrated with projects and causes he helped build and streamline including:

  • The Brantford Comedy Festival (10 Year Host & Contributor)
  • The official inclusion of standup comedy as an art form at The Hamilton Arts Awards (as well as being the first recipient of the emerging arts award for comedy in 2014 and hosting in 2018)
  • Self-producing his first comedy special in 2015 called Clifford Myers: Oddyssey
  • Building the foundational open mic at Emerson 109 that has withstood the test of time to become a cultural staple in Hamilton, Ontario and a breeding grounds for learning standup comedy

Since moving from Hamilton in 2018, Clifford has settled down in Cobourg, Ontario with his 7 year-old son to live the beach life in Ontario's Feel Good Town.

Locally he produces independent and corporate comedy shows, runs a small-county open mic and runs Canada's first and only comedy festival on a goat farm, Jokes and Goats at Haute Goat Farm.
