Comedy On The Vine July 5th - Sue-Ann Staff Estate Winery

Comedy on the Vine! Comedy Night, July 5th

Comedy on the Vine returns!

Join us FRIDAY, JULY 5 for a hilarious night under the Moyer Marquee!

Staff favourite CLIFFORD MYERS hosts our second Comedy on the Vine, this time with feature comedians JASON ALLEN and DARRYL PURVIS. It's another fabulously funny evening at the winery!

Please note, there are no physical tickets for this event. Your name will be added to a guestlist for check in at the door.

JASON ALLEN: Jason Allen is a stand-up comedian from Hamilton Ontario. He travels across North America performing at various comedy clubs along the way. Jason has worked with such acts as Tom Segura, Brian Posehn, Kevin Pollak and Jeremy Hotz. Jason’s comedy has also been featured on Just for Laughs 42, The Edmonton Comedy Festival, The Haymaker Comedy Festival, The Cottage Country Comedy Festival and Sirius XM satellite radio. With his rapid-fire style and honest approach to comedy Jason will be an act to watch out for in the future.

DARRYL PURVIS: “A seasoned headliner who tours the country and is one of the most underrated standups in the industry” – Toronto Star

With some of the sharpest sarcasm and satire around, it’s no wonder that Darryl is considered one of the first-rate joke writers on the Canadian comedy scene. Originally from Antigonish, Nova Scotia, he has performed at clubs across North America and the UK, as well as numerous national television and radio appearances such as his own comedy special for CTV/The Comedy Network and the Halifax Comedy Festival. His comedy golf podcast “Where’s That Bar Cart?” is consistently ranked in the top 20 golf podcasts, unfortunately his golf score is not so successful.

CLIFFORD MYERS is a Canadian Comedian 15 years into the business and the founder of The Other Comedy Company that builds comedy-based personal and professional development programs for corporate teams and community organizations.

In his career, he has been an active advocate for comedians, positive-sum business practices and community-building.

·         The Brantford Comedy Festival (10 Year Host & Contributor)

·         The official inclusion of standup comedy as an art form at The Hamilton Arts Awards (as well as being the first recipient of the emerging arts award for comedy in 2014 and hosting in 2018)

·         Self-producing his first comedy special in 2015 called Clifford Myers: Oddyssey

·         Building the foundational open mic at Emerson 109 that has withstood the test of time to become a cultural staple in Hamilton, Ontario and a breeding ground for learning standup comedy

Since moving from Hamilton in 2018, Clifford has settled down in Cobourg, Ontario with his 7-year-old son to live the beach life in Ontario's Feel Good Town.

Locally he produces independent and corporate comedy shows, runs a small-county open mic and runs Canada's first and only comedy festival on a goat farm, Jokes and Goats at Haute Goat Farm.
