-cool fermented in stainless steel over 3 weeks on skins with selected yeast to retain colour and fruit
-MLF in stainless prior to oak aging for 6 months in aged French and American oak. No fining required.
-a Meritage / Bordeaux inspired blend of 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Cabernet Franc and 15% Merlot.
An elegant Bordeaux style red for everyday enjoyment. The focused fruit-driven nose is reminiscent of black currant, liquorice and mulling and cinnamon spices while underlying tones of leather, a wintery meat stew and juniper add complexity. The elegant, dry, gripping palate gets more intense and alluring as you sip it. Very approachable with a pleasant round finish. Perfect with elegant red meats, poultry and pasta with rosé sauces, eggplant parmesan and more!
