Tasting Notes:
Lifted and focused aromatics of tropical fruits especially passionfruit and ripe white grape notes are balanced with a clean, bright, fruit filled palate with a lengthy finish. Frissonesque is zesty and elegant from the first sniff to the very last sip. Pair with classics like asparagus in season, chèvre, pasta with lemon cream, or seafood. Perfect with a white pizza topped with herbed chicken.

Great with a frivolous culinary adventure or the simplest of cuisine.

Tony Aspler,
89 points: "...very white Bordeaux in style – pale straw in colour with a grassy, green plum nose; medium-bodied, crisply dry, gooseberry and green bean flavours with good length.

Rick Vansickle,
88 points: "The nose drips with passion fruit, grapefruit, lime, kiwi and a range of tropical fruits on the nose. It’s fresh and lively on the palate with tropical fruits and herbs and all lifted by freshening acidity."

Evan Saviolidis, 87 points: "SAS’s first ever Sauvignon blanc is a zesty offering which delivers fresh herbs, green apple, pink grapefruit, papaya, passion fruit and citrus. Serve alongside goat cheese crostini or grilled haddock drizzled with lemon, olive oil and fresh oregano."

86 points: "This 100% sauvignon blanc—from the 5th generation Niagara agriculturist Staff family and their respected, talented winemaker, Sue-Ann Staff—has a clean zesty tropical nose—starfruit, guava, pineapple, and a touch of freshly mown lawn. Fresh and crisp on the palate, the herbaceous flavours meld with pink grapefruit and white grapes paving the way to a lightly pithy/mineral, clean and refreshing finish. Drink now and pair with a fresh-dill rubbed and baked cod fillet with steamed asparagus."
