A sleek, full-bodied Gris, with notes of warm vanilla and poached pear on the nose. In the mouth, the wine is round, smooth and weighty, with suggestions of baked apples, spice, and a hint of citrus zest. Outstanding on its own, but even better with cheese & charcuterie, roast poultry or pork, or the classic Alsatian-style flammekueche (bacon and onion flatbread).
100% estate grown fruit from the Staff vineyards, located in the Vinemount Ridge sub-appellation. Hand-picked and whole cluster pressed in a one-ton basket press before fermentation and aging in French and American oak.

Nose: Lightly toasty, peach pit nose with a salty note.
Palate: Medium-bodied, dry, savoury, white peach flavour with a smoky note; nicely integrated oak.
