#FROSTYFRIDAY: Episode 3, A Canadian in Manhattan

Today's #frostyfriday Icewine cocktail is a delicious blend of VQA Icewine, bourbon and maple syrup. Kind of a hands-across-the-border thing ;)

 A Canadian In Manhattan

  • 1/2 oz VQA Vidal Icewine, such as our medal-winning Howard's Icewine Vidal
  • 1 oz Bourbon...in this case, Buffalo Trace
  • 1/2 oz maple syrup
  • maraschino cherry for garnish

Set out a rocks glass. 

Pour the Icewine, bourbon and maple syrup into an ice-filled cocktail shaker. 

Shake shake shake. 

Strain into your rocks glass with ice and garnish with the cherry. 

Sip slowwwwwly and enjoy. 

 Nota bene: You can also make this one without the cocktail shaker...pour the ingredients one at a time over ice into a rocks glass and stir gently.
