Flirty Bubbles packs a powerful punch for such a dainty wine. On the nose, it suggests ripe strawberries and rhubarb. In the mouth, the wine is crisp with notes of crabapple and peach. Beautifully effervescent, the mousse is tight and refreshing.

This is a versatile wine, ideal on its own, with appetizers, or with the main course. We suggest serving Flirty Bubbles well chilled with mussels or oysters, at brunch with a bacon sandwich, or with roast turkey at your next family get together.

What is methode charmat?

In the charmat or "tank method", the base wine undergoes its secondary fermentation in a large tank, instead of individual bottles (methode traditionelle). The wine is chilled to stop fermentation and then filtered and bottled under pressure to retain the bubbles. This is an excellent method for aromatic grape varieties as the influence of lees is minimized, allowing the true expression of the grape to shine through.
